Ballet Memphis attends Crosstown High's Career Day

Ballet Memphis' Brandon Ramey spent the afternoon at Crosstown High last week sharing about his time as a professional company artist and his new role at Ballet Memphis.

Brandon spent 14 seasons as a company artist at Ballet Memphis. He is also a choreographer and has created many captivating and exploratory works for both professional and youth companies. After his retirement from the stage at the end of last season, he transitioned into the role of Co-Director of Ballet Memphis School & Youth Ballet Memphis shared with his wife, former company artist Virginia Pilgrim Ramey.

Brandon's visit was a gateway to the world of dance, offering students a firsthand encounter with costumes and immersive movement, igniting a passion for dance and ballet in the hearts of Crosstown students.
